Your Generosity Builds a Stronger Tampa Bay
When you give to Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay, you’re investing in people — not programs. Your generosity fuels mentorship for children, companionship for seniors, support for veterans, and stability for families. Every gift stays local, creating lasting change throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community where everyone has the chance to thrive.

Every dollar you give stays local, making a direct impact on Tampa Bay neighbors in need. Your support helps children learn to read, offers companionship to isolated seniors, provides resources for struggling veterans, and puts food on the table for hungry families. But that’s not all. Your gift also empowers older adults to stay healthy, active, and engaged by connecting them with meaningful volunteer opportunities. Your gift is an investment in people, purpose, and a more connected community.
Here To Help
Leave Your Legacy
A legacy commitment is an investment in sustainable work that will directly impact Tampa Bay’s most vulnerable communities and transform the future for generations to come. Here are more ways to make large gifts that leave a lasting legacy.
1. Include Seniors in Service in Your Will
Whether you designate a specific amount or leave a percentage of your estate, your legacy gift will provide essential services for future generations.
Sample Will Language:
I {name}, of {city, state ZIP}, bequeath the sum of ${ } or { } percent of my estate to Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay Inc., a nonprofit organization with a business address of 1306 W. Sligh Ave., Tampa, FL 33604 and a tax identification number 59-2422975 for its unrestricted use and purpose.
2. Name Seniors in Service as a Beneficiary
Your retirement plans, life insurance policies and annuities can all help bring resources to communities in need.
3. Donate Non-Cash Assets
Donating certain non-cash assets like real estate can provide significant tax benefits while advancing our mission.
4. Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
If you're 72 or older, you can donate up to $100,000 annually from your IRA as a tax-free Qualified Charitable Distribution. A QCD can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and reduce your taxable income — even if you don’t itemize deductions.
