Dedicated volunteers are making a lasting difference for veterans across Tampa Bay through compassion, service, and commitment. Seniors in Service proudly recognized ten Operation: Veteran Connect members for completing four years of impactful service supporting veterans in the community. Their milestone was celebrated alongside a meaningful 9/11 Day of Remembrance Service Project, where volunteers came together to help restore and beautify a space dedicated to supporting Tampa Bay first responders.

Mission accomplished! We proudly honor and recognize the achievements of ten of our most committed Operation: Veteran Connect members, who have dedicated four years of service in assisting Veterans throughout Tampa Bay. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of them for their invaluable contributions towards enhancing the quality of life for those who have selflessly served our nation.

Operation: Veteran Connect’s 9/11 Day of Remembrance Service Project

Operation: Veteran Connect volunteers complete a 9/11 Day of Remembrance Service Project, clearing debris, landscaping, and beautifying The Franciscan Center in Tampa.

Operation: Veteran Connect members serving with AmeriCorps and Volunteer Florida dedicated their 9/11 Day of Remembrance Service Project to help beautify the grounds at The Franciscan Center in Tampa. They helped garden and clear debris from recent storms to prepare the center for the Restoration and Restore Program for Tampa Bay First Responders to enjoy.
