Make a Difference in Your Own Unique Way

Across Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties, RSVP volunteers are proving every day that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to making a difference. Whether they’re helping veterans, supporting families, mentoring students, or lending their skills behind the scenes, each volunteer finds a meaningful way to serve that matches their passions and strengths.

Jan, an RSVP volunteer with Seniors in Service, reviews paperwork while volunteering at the VA Outpatient Clinic in New Port Richey.

Every Volunteer Has a Story

Take Jan, for example. She welcomes veterans at the VA Outpatient Clinic in New Port Richey with a warm smile and friendly conversation that can brighten someone's entire day. Shirley serves at ECHO’s Resource Center in Brandon, helping neighbors access clothing and essential resources during difficult times. In Hudson, Arlene and Kimberly volunteer at Grace's Food Pantry, helping families put food on the table, while Elaine uses her organizational talents to support the important work of St. Vincent de Paul.

Every volunteer brings something different, but together they're creating a stronger, more connected community.

Mentoring the Next Generation

At Ben Hill Middle School, RSVP volunteers are helping shape the next generation through mentoring. By sharing life experiences, listening with patience, and offering encouragement, these dedicated volunteers are helping seventh- and eighth-grade students build confidence, character, and hope for the future. Sometimes, a caring adult who simply shows up and listens can make all the difference.

There's a Place for Everyone to Serve

From food pantries and veteran clinics to schools and nonprofit organizations, RSVP volunteers are using their unique gifts to improve lives throughout Tampa Bay. No matter your background, experience, or interests, there's a place where your time and talents can make a lasting impact.
